Every summer I like to do a personal project which lets me explore new challenging tasks. Last summer I wrote a Java 2D game from ground up. This time I have decided to try something similar with iPhone. I´m starting out with Quartz 2D then maybe move over to OpenGL ES or a popular framework. I’m going to post my game concept with some drawings soon.

This is a picture of the same basic strategy that I have used previously in my last project with good free game art resources.

I just finished reading the book on my Kindle 2. This book is a must read for everyone who love movies like “No Country for Old Men”. A Movie of the book is soon to be released next year.

Make a relay race in Java with animated visuals. The original task was a school task that only needed to print team status and results in the Eclipse console. I liked it allot and made a really simple visual relay race. You have 5 teams with 4 contester running. Every contester is a thread working together as a team.

School is here soon, and I have been working hard to finish a game I have been busy working on. It is about a super tank that is defending it’s city from terrorists running to blow it up.

Game Objective
You are the hero who controls this super tank so that your city will survive another day. You have to kill all 50 terrorists. If one bypasses you then he will destroy your city.

Development
I have never made games before. The code and the game you are about to see is my own research and work, this is stuff I did not learn in school, because I’m no game developer.

One of the funniest movies out there. I was truly surprised over how funny and cool the movie is. This movie is worth every penny.

The movie is about some friends going for a bachelor-party held for a bachelor shortly before he enters marriage, to make the most of his final opportunity to engage in activities a new partner might not approve of, or merely to spend time with his male friends (who are often in his wedding party afterwards).

The bachelor and his friends did some really crazy stuff together at Vegas. In the next morning they forget everything. They lose the bachelor so they try to find him.

The first time I watched Sin City the movie it was horrible. I underestimated the movie quite allot. I watched it the first time at night and did not like nor understand how the movie is telling you the story.

Two days ago from today, I watched it again. To tell you the truth I really loved it. I was surprised of how well this movie is.

Wolfram finds and visualizes real-world data points from natural language queries. Ask it anything from 2+2 to how much is 1kr in dollars or even website statistics. This is fantastic. Check it out.

I was a very big fan of the game Microsoft Flight Simulator. I have all versions of the game, from the DOS version to the latest version. I loved it so much back then, I just wanted to make something good for the game. So I started working on Visual Basic programming and I made a very basic program for the flight simulator.

My very First program allows you to view Aircraft information very easy and fast. It was posted on www.fsplanet.com which is a very big popular site for downloading addons for the Flight Simulator game.

I did a search not so long ago and found my very first program other there. They gave me 4 stars for this addon and I was very happy. It’s just great looking at it now and thinking back, I had so much fun playing that game and making small programs for it.
